Meet the team

  • Chloe Erdan (she/her), MS CCC-SLP

Master of Science, Speech-Language Pathology, Emerson College

What do you love about your career?

I LOVE seeing patients succeed and having AHA moments! Being a part of their speech and language journey is such an honor.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I’m very “outsidey” — not quite outdoorsy. I love being outside! Whether it’s a park picnic, or strolling through the neighborhood, I’m always ready for an outdoor adventure.

    Describe your perfect weekend.

For breakfast, a Chloe Special. “What is that?”,  you may ask. A breakfast burrito and a nap! Followed by some outside time, of course!

    What is your superpower?

With a single sniff, I know if a dish has cumin in it.

  • Julia Hundley (she/her), MS CCC-SLP

Master of Arts, Speech-Language Pathology, University of Massachusetts Amherst

    Professional flex(es)?

I've received professional status in the school district I work in (e.g., I've worked there for 4 years and have passed all my observations/evaluations!). I've also done several neurodiversity affirming therapy PD's. No formal "certifications" though but it's definitely an interest area!

What do you love about your career?

I love making connections with each and every patient/child I work with and becoming someone that they trust and feel comfortable around. I love learning about my kid's interests, hobbies, and personal goals too!

What do you love to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I love to do yoga, go for walks, try new restaurants, travel, and hangout with my friends and family.

    Describe your perfect weekend.

My perfect weekend includes sleeping in/having slow mornings, going to yoga classes, going out to a new restaurant, and spending time with friends!

    What is your superpower?

My superpower is building rapport/trust with clients/kids who think they are going to dislike speech but end up loving it because I make it super fun/safe!

  • Lauren Tong (she/her), MS-CCC SLP

Master of Science, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Teachers College, Columbia University

What do you love about your career?

I love coming to work each day seeing the patients I've built relationships with and partnering with them and their families to make progress on the goals that they want to achieve!

What do you love to do outside of work?

I love playing tennis, trying out new restaurants, hiking around the Bay Area, and sipping on boba on a warm day.

    Describe your perfect weekend.

My perfect weekend involves enjoying the outdoors on a warm day and hanging out with friends and/or family surrounded by good food (and desserts).

    What is your superpower?

My superpower is my organization and time management skills (lol). My favorite superpower would be the ability to teleport!

  • Molly Bouffard (she/her), MS CCC-SLP

Master of Science, Clinical Speech-Language Pathology, Northern Arizona University

Master of Music, James Madison University

    • Lee Silverman Voice Training (LSVT) certified

    • Phonation Resistance Training Exercises (PhoRTE) certified

    • Member of The Voice Foundation

What do you love about your career?

I love working with patients and collaborating with them and other professionals to best support their needs.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I love TV shows and movies, so I'm often binging the newest popular show on Netflix or watching a recently hyped-up movie. I also LOVE trying out different restaurants in or around San Francisco.

    Describe your perfect weekend.

My perfect weekend involves brunch, a good nap, and enjoying time in Half Moon Bay (one of my favorite areas) with my husband.

    What is your superpower?

I like to think of my superpower as being able to provide a good pep-talk when needed!

  • Morganne Frampton (they/she), AuD

Doctor of Audiology, University of Arizona

    Professional flex(es)?

During graduate school, I completed a research study examining the feasibility of simultaneous bilateral caloric irrigations for vestibular evaluations. Then, I completed an externship at Evergreen Speech and Hearing Clinic, which provided further experience in hearing testing and hearing aids across the lifespan, tinnitus evaluations, central auditory processing testing and treatment, and vestibular evaluations.

What do you love about your career?

In between testing, hearing aid fittings, and troubleshooting, I love getting to build relationships with patients. When patients are here, I find time to learn about their hobbies, family, and life in general. It’s important to me to recognize each individual journey that brought people to this point, and of course it’s always fun to swap entertaining stories!

What do you love to do outside of work?

In my spare time, you can find me browsing antique and oddities shops, in the park with a book, or working on my latest cross-stitching project.

    Describe your perfect weekend.

The perfect weekend would be waking up early on Saturday to eat breakfast outside in the sun, spending the day in the woods hiking away from any cell phone service, then finishing the evening with a game night with friends (the more competitive, the better). Sunday would be a rest day to sleep in, catch up on my reading list, and tend to my houseplants.

    What is your superpower?

I like to think I have a stellar sense of direction, whether that’s in the rural counties I grew up in in Pennsylvania, navigating SF, or traveling abroad. My parents were pretty happy about this when my older sister finally got her driver’s license and I became her co-captain.

  • Serena Haller (she/her), MS CCC-SLP

Master of Science, Speech-Language Pathology, University of Montana

    Professional flex(es)?

    • Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) Training Certification

    • Treating Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders: Beyond the Symptoms Training

What do you love about your career?

I enjoy my role as a speech-language pathologist because of the profound impact I have on people's lives, the variety of challenges, the personal connections I build, and the opportunities for creative therapy.

What do you love to do outside of work?

I love to spend time in nature hiking, swimming, camping, and traveling, or diving into my creative side with paint and crafts.

    Describe your perfect weekend.

Waking up early to go on a new hike, enjoying a meal and game night with loved ones, and cozying up to a good movie before the busy week begins.

    What is your superpower?

If I could have a superpower, I would want to teleport through time. There would be endless opportunities with this superpower!

  • Joy Monares (she/her)

Front Office Coordinator and Professional Student, Business Administration w/ Marketing

    Professional flex(es)?

If you ever walked into our office and was impressed by our occasional seasonal decoration, you are so welcome <3

I also help coordinate the schedules between all the clinicians and the hundreds of patients we see throughout the year!

What do you love about your job?

I absolutely love being able to connect with people on a non-clinical level! Since we have both speech and hearing at the clinic, I meet so many people across the board whether it be through phone call inquiries or emails. My most favorite time of the year is Sound Halloween spirit week when all the kiddos come in their costumes!

What do you love to do outside of work?

I'm a Tahitian dancer and a religious gym go-er! Also as a Taurus (aka, the best earth sign <3) I LOVE being outdoors and baking in the sun! Since moving to San Francisco, my top activities involve 5ks at the beach, reading at the park & discovering new food places!

    Describe your perfect weekend.

Sleeping in is always at the top of my list! Cleaning the house, working out, cooking meals & playing video games with my friends! I occasionally go back home to visit my family since they're only two hours away so also hanging out with my two older sister's army of toddlers is a favorite pastime of mine (there's only two of them but it feels like 30 sometimes).

    What is your superpower?

Target self-control (harder than it seems!)

  • Melissa Beer (she/her), AuD

Doctor of Audiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison

    Professional flex(es)?

I studied American Sign Language for years. While I’m not as proficient as I once was, I still enjoy being able to use ASL to communicate with Deaf patients!

What do you love about your career?

HOW COOL it is that the communication sciences are informed by other fields such as anatomy and physiology, biology, neurology, linguistics, social sciences, and psychology. I love how seemingly simple communication is, while knowing the complexity behind it, and figuring out the best ways to support those who are experiencing difficulties with it.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Please put me outdoors in the sunshine! But if I’m not enjoying fresh air working on our yard, you’ll find me in a weight room slowly getting stronger through strength training, in the kitchen making a mess while stumbling through baking, or in a chair reading yet another mystery.

    Describe your perfect weekend.

Somehow it involves morning cuddles with my kiddo, coffee with my husband, being outdoors with neighbors stopping by, a dinner gathering with friends AND being completely and perfectly alone all weekend long, lost in a book.

    What is your superpower?

    Thematic gift-giving.

  • Jody Vaynshtok (she/her), MS CCC-SLP

Master of Science, Medical Speech-Language Pathology, University of Washington

    • Trans Voice Certified

    • PROMPT

    • Lidcombe Program

    • Hanen

    • It Takes Two to Talk

    • Incredible Flexible You

What do you love about your career?

I love being a speech-language pathologist because it’s like being a communication detective! Every day, I get to unlock the mysteries of speech and language, helping people find their voices—literally! Watching my clients hit milestones is like celebrating little victories every day.

What do you love to do outside of work?

When I’m not helping people find their voice, you'll find me hitting the pavement for a run, sneaking in a Peloton class whenever I can, finding the perfect playlist for a dance party with my family or planning my next travel adventure.

    Describe your perfect weekend.

My perfect weekend starts with a walk to the local coffee shop for an americano with a splash of oat milk, followed by a workout class filled with Taylor Swift and Beyonce songs. Next up is a spontaneous road trip or a quick weekend getaway—because who doesn’t love a little adventure? The day wraps up with a dinner out with the perfect glass of wine.

    What is your superpower?

I’ve been told that I am an extremely talented multi-tasker ;)
